4. Many say that violence is a learned cycle. Do you agree or disagree? Explain your answer.

5. If you are complicit in an abuse of power, and you responsible for the abuse of power? (look up the word "complicit")

hi kids. here is the information you will include for each of your winners responses:

* vocabulary (at least 5 words you do not know or you find interesting - please include your own definition of each word);
* prediction (what do you think will happen? what makes you think that?)
* question (about setting, character, plot, etc.)
* reflection on previous prediction (were you right? what clues made you think what happened would happen?)

you will complete one response for each chapter (please only work on the chapter assigned).

* where in europe? (rural? urban? village? town? city?)
* who is your character? age, gender, family situation, etc.
* socioeconomic status (class, income)
* personality (what is your character's attitude? expression?)
